Squeaking By!

Day 5 is almost over and I'm just over 2 days ahead of pace! I managed to get another 2k day of words created today (actually 2,001 ;) ) bringing my total word count to 12,029! I did not start writing today until after the kid went to bed, so around 9pm. And even then I struggled to stay focused for more than 10 minutes at a time. Being ahead of pace seems to be having the laddy dah effect on me. I know I have plenty of back up so if I don't get all 2000 words in that I aim for what's it matter... this must end! I need to get the fire under my butt again! I still love my story and I'm just getting into the really good, exciting parts and yet I'm struggling to find the desire to write. Anyone out there have a suggestion? Is there anyone out there?
